ERIS School

The 9th European Radio Interferometry School (ERIS 2022) will be hosted by JIVE and ASTRON in Dwingeloo (the Netherlands) on 19 - 23 September 2022. The school is sponsored by the H2020 Opticon RadioNet Pilot (ORP) Project. Registration for the School is currently open and the deadline for registration is 15 May 2022.

ERIS 2022 will provide a week of lectures and tutorials on how to achieve scientific results from radio interferometry. The topics covered by the lectures/tutorials will include:

  • Calibration and imaging of interferometry data (continuum, spectral line, and polarisation)
  • Observing techniques with various arrays (e.g. LOFAR, e-MERLIN, EVN/VLBI, ALMA & NOEMA);
  • How to plan and propose for observations.

Please register via the ERIS 2022 School website. Note that due to logistical limitations, the School will be able to accommodate a maximum of 85 participants, so the organisers encourage registration as soon as possible. The deadline for registration is 15 May 2022.
