The Opticon RadioNet Pilot brings together the well-established
ground-based astronomy community to offer, support and develop
access to radio and optical facilities in an efficient, co-ordinated and
future-looking programme.
The 16th European VLBI Network Symposium, co-sponsored by ORP, will take place on 2-6 Sep in Bonn/DE. Deadline for abstract submission on 10 June 2024. Deadline for registration on 30 June 2024.
"ORP science talks" are an opportunity for scientists to present their work and results at a monthly online event. Speakers for the first event: Cosimo Inserra (Supernovas) and Zsofia Nagy (Young Stellar Objects). Date: April 3rd.

A newly released paper, led by Gyula I. G. Józsa of MPIfR, also co-coordinator of the Opticon RadioNet Pilot (ORP) Sky Protection Group, addresses existing and coming issues regarding the impact of large satellite constellations on astronomy.
