Paulo Garcia (Portugal) is an associate professor at the Faculdade de Engenharia da Universidade do Porto and a researcher at the Centre for Astrophysics and Gravitation. His research interests focus on astrophysics at high angular resolution with an emphasis on the galactic centre and young stellar objects.

Within ORP, he is the lead of WP17 TA11 VLTI Expertise Centres and part of the Executive Team.
